Political Representation
Advocating for Pakistani-American representation in elected and appointed offices across San Diego County — from school boards to City Council and beyond.
APDSD · Founded in San Diego, CA
Uniting the American Pakistani community of San Diego in civic participation, democratic values, and a shared vision for a stronger, more inclusive California and nation.
The American Pakistani Democratic Club of San Diego (APDSD) empowers Pakistani-Americans across San Diego County through civic engagement, democratic participation, and principled advocacy. We believe every voice matters and every vote counts.
Mobilizing voters, supporting candidates, and advocating for policies that serve our community's interests at every level of government.
Bridging generations and backgrounds to foster a united, thriving Pakistani-American presence across the greater San Diego region.
Celebrating our dual heritage — honoring our Pakistani roots while embracing the American democratic tradition that defines our shared future.
Democracy is not a spectator sport. Our voices must be heard in every council chamber, every statehouse, and every ballot box in San Diego.
Everything we do is guided by a commitment to democratic values, community empowerment, and the belief that every Pakistani-American in San Diego deserves a seat at the table.

APDSD is a volunteer civic organization that has not raised or spent any funds. We are committed to operating transparently and lawfully, and will meet all applicable filing and disclosure requirements if and when financial activity begins.
APDSD has not made or received any contributions and has no current federal filing obligations under the Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA). Should the club begin raising or spending funds on federal elections, we will register with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and comply with all applicable disclosure requirements at that time.
Because APDSD has received no contributions and made no expenditures, we are currently below the $2,000 threshold that triggers registration and disclosure requirements under the California Political Reform Act and the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC). If financial activity begins, we will file Form 410 and all required disclosures promptly and in good faith.
APDSD is committed to operating in accordance with the California Democratic Party Charter & Bylaws and the National Democratic Party Charter. We uphold the party's full non-discrimination policy, ensuring participation is open to all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, religion, disability, or sexual orientation. Our bylaws are available upon request.
